Sheila Franklin Gilstein has been the leading provider of socialization groups in Monmouth County for the past 25 years.  She hold’s a Master’s degree from UCLA and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.  She currently has a private practice at The Community Playroom  in Colts Neck where she conducts both group and individual sessions for children with anxiety, ADHD, and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.  She has worked at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, provided dance/movement therapy for  both private and public special education schools in  Illinois and New Jersey, taught at Brookdale Community College, and leads workshops for teachers and parents.  She is the Past President of the New Jersey Chapter – American Dance Therapy Association and New Jersey Association Creativity in Counseling.  She has published in the American Dance Therapy Association Journal.
